I recently was playing around using several different techniques w/my daughter, Dria. Together we have made many 'pieces' of art to use as embellishments or background on future cards. On this one the red background layer was done by embossing black cs w/script ef then painted over w/red paint; once dry, it was lightly sanded to take some of the red paint off the raised embossing. For the 3 heart piece on the bottom, red flocking was adhered using glue and a brayer and the Damask stamp followed w/red flocking; the hearts were then punched out and old dictionary paper was adhered to the back side of the piece; deckle edge scissors were used on the edges for decoration. The red circles were done by using bubblewrap on an acrylic block as a stamp.
