2 Sketches 4 You: Ultimate Card Showdown

Okay, so I just had to play along. 2 Sketches 4 You is having an Ultimate Card Showdown contest. I keep watching you all enter this contest so I whipped up this card to play along. Can't believe how many are participating. You all are so AMAZING!
Here is my supply/tool list:
  • Punches: Stampin' Up! Cute and Curly; Fiskars "Violets are Blue" oval border punch; EK Success' Fleur de Lis border punch; Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch
  • Cuttlebug embossing folders: Swiss Dot and Birds & Swirls
  • rub-ons: Making Memories Sabrina line
  • pink vellum
  • DCWV pink paper from mat stack
  • line embossed white cardstock---source unknown
  • rihinestones: Sticko and Making Memories
  • Vellum and Glitter Butterfly: Brides Collection by Brides Magazine
  • transparency frame: Nocturne by Colorbok
  • pop dots

Ran the pink vellum thru Cuttlebug w/ Birds & Swirls ef then matted it to pink mat stack paper; made card itself from the line embossed cs; cut down transparency to lay over pink layer; added polka dot flower and heart rub-ons inside oval already printed on transparency; added pink oval rhinestone to butterfly body on top left of card; punched pink border with Martha Stewart punch; punched black border with EK Success punched; layered them and adhered both to left of card; cut white panel out of white cs and punched each side with Fiskars oval border punch then ran thru Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots ef; inked edges of this panel with black ink pad; punched Cute and Curly SU punch out of black cs then added same shaped Making Memories sentiment rub-on on top of it and small pink rhinestone; adhered to white panel; added Vellum and Glitter butterly with pop dots onto this same panel and adhered to top of transparency panel.

I know it was a lot to read---thanks for taking the time. I really had fun with this one. I hope you all like it!! :)

This turned out GREAT! I like the acetate over the embossed vellum AND the black border punch over the pink border punch; both are lovely and dramatic. The rhinestones are perfect accents.
