CCC#7: Tinted Vision Fragments

Woo Hoo! Finally got my CCC#7 done! Seems I always get it finished on the last day!
For anyone unfamiliar, this is The Compendium Of Curiosities Challenge hosted by the lovely Linda over at Studio L3. This challenge is based on Tim Holtz' new book by the same name. In it there are amazing techniques that are making up the challenges. If you don't have the book, you need to get it! And if you haven't visited Linda's blog that should be high up there on your priority list---she is truly amazing.
This tag I made with a specific little baby in mind. When she arrives I will most likely use this tag on the front of her 'welcome' card :)
Here are the ingredients:
**Distress Inks: Peeled Paint, Tea Dye and Crushed Olive
**blender tool by Ranger
**cream and olive cs
**musical note stamp by All Night Media
**square Fragment by Tim Holtz
**Alcohol Inks (by Ranger): Citrus and Meadow and blending solution
**dictionary text
**Musical Note die by Provo Craft
**various fibers and ribbon
**acetate tag
**eyelet/grommet by Memory Makers
**Crop-a-Dile
**Martha Stewart Doily Lace Border Punch
**Glossy Accents by Ranger
**Nursery Rhyme paper by Scrap Happy
**mini alpha stamps
**Grungepaper by Tim Holtz (for musical note)

Also, thanks for linking to my Tim Holtz blog candy giveaway. I am excited to do the giveaway because it gives me the opportunity to see a ton of new blogs and get inspired! Stacy H-W

This is such a sweet tag. Love what you did for challenge #6 too. I'd like to catch up with the challenges I've missed now I finally got the book :)

Deanna, how sweet! That little baby is precious, and you did a beautiful job on the technique! So many great little details here-- the paper-covered music note, the lacy edge on the tag, the perfect "Pat a cake" sentiment-- it's absolutely lovely!

Thank you so much for your kind words, too! ♥

Love it! Looks great! I end up waiting until the last moment too, but then there is the pressure that it MUST be completed. :)

This is beautiful, Deanna! I will need your help to do my baby pictures. I love this vintage feel and it is just the tone I want for my own album.
