Wedding Layouts

***This layout was published in the June issue of Scrapbook News and Review Magazine***

After 12 and a half years of wedded bliss I am finally getting around to scrapping the event! This week's challenge at Cuttlebug Challenges is 'Photo Inspired' so I thought this layout would be fitting. Just got myself a Cricut so this is the first thing I've used it on (the date). I also embossed the photo corners and the music tag in the song collage piece.

Here is my supply list:

Tea Dye and Old Paper Distress Inkpads
photo corner embossing folder by Provo Craft
musical note embossing folder by Provo Craft
copper fibers
cream, black and olive cs
epoxy tag sticker cut to shape of bottle
clock stamps
deckle edged scissors
old music score
old dictionary text

Black, White and RED w/Butterflies and Blossoms

This was such a fun card to make. I made at my friend Sheryl's house today. Probably drove her crazy cuz I wasn't prepared w/all the embellishments, etc so she/we kept having to go up to her craft room (a.k.a. The Candy Store for any crafter) for each thing I needed! Finally got it done---just in time for my friend Namita's bday manana ;)
I am submitting it to these 3 challenges:
Sunday Stampers: theme---RED
Sir Stampalot Challenge: Butterflies and Blossoms
Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge: black and white plus one color
Here is my supply list:
black card
cream cs/red cs
Coordinations paper: Black w/red core
sanding block
black and white mat/die cut from Making Memories: 5th Avenue line
Fire Brick Distress Inkpad
Tattered Floral Die: Tim Holtz' Alterations line

One card, two challenges.........

Was in a time crunch so had to make this in a jiffy. Went with the CAS style (thanks June). I am entering this in The Cuttlebug Challenges challenge for a child bday card this week. This is a card for my son's friend who is turning 10. At that age they don't want anything cutesy anymore. Went with masculine colors and twine for a boyish look. My son seemed to like it so guess I did okay.
Also, this is for Allsorts Challenge blog. They are turning '1' and are having a great blog hop with lots of yummy blog candy up for grabs. You should go check it out!

**Distress Ink: Peeled paint
**twine
