Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired: Custom Gift Bag

I know I have been MIA lately but I am back now. Here to share my submission for the Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired--Custom Gift Bags.
Recipe:
  • brown paper gift bag
  • black, white and red cs
  • various black, white and red ribbons
  • 3 small black brads
  • black Stazon ink pad
  • Red Fire Brick Distress ink pad
  • Design Runner
  • sponge
  • Stampers Anoymonous Stamp by Tim Holtz
  • D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder
  • deckle edge blade with Fiskars cutter

Here I simply ran long panel of black cs thru Cuttlebug with D'Vine swirl ef twice to emboss entire length; cut along all edges of this panel with Fiskars cutter using deckle edge blade; tore long strips of red cs; adhered all three to bag; stamped Stampers Anonomous Bird image on red cs and tore out and inked edges with black ink before adhering to black panel; added criss-crossed red and black ribbon toward bottom of bag; used Design Runner to print sentiment on white cs then tore out and edged with red distress ink using sponge; added the 3 black brads and adhered to bottom of bag. Finished off by adding various red, white and black ribbons to handle of bag.

What a great job Deanna! The colors with the kraft bag look great together. So glad you could join in on the challenge. :)
