Cuttlebug and Punches, Be Inspired #23

Okay, so here is my submission for the Cuttlebug Challenges: Create using punches in unusual ways: Be Inspired #23
For this card I started by using the Fiskars Effervescence border punch on the right edge of the pink cs---making sure not to punch to the top and bottom of the paper. I then used the Fiskars Dandy Doodles border punch on a slightly longer black piece of cs. Then "threaded" the pink cs thru the slit made by the punch on the black paper. I left the black paper underneath to show thru some of the holes; adhered white paper under the other holes in the pink cs. Finally, I used the Fiskars Upper Crest border punch on a 1 1/4 inch piece of both pink and black cs---only once, then turning the paper around to punch a mirror image; this leaves you with a kind of hour glass looking piece of paper; I cut the "hour glass" frame off. I repeated this with a 1 1/2 wide piece of white cs; I layered all three pieces (offsetting the pink and black) for the base to the stamped sentiment. I adhered this piece with foam tape. Hope you like it!

This is very cool Deanna! I love how you slipped the pink CS through the black after punching it out! Great idea!! And I'm going to have to hunt out that Upper Crest punch - I think that hour glass shape is very cool!!

Thanks for joining us this week on Cuttlebug Challenge! Good luck with the giveaway!
